Who We Are

Our Vision, Mission and Goal

The Little Red Schoolhouse Project ("LRS") is designed to serve families in need in Thurston County, sending them "back to school with pride." We are committed to providing, at no cost, school supplies and backpacks to families in need so children can begin the school year with their basic needs for school.

The Little Red Schoolhouse Project was founded in 1991 in response to this need. We are a non-profit organization under the fiscal sponsorship of FAMILY EDUCATION & SUPPORT SERVICES (FESS). Their mission is "to inspire healthy child development through the provision of quality family support services."

Each year supplies are given to approximately 3,000 students!
